The glorious gift of the camera for me is that it provides a means to halt the continuous flow of information that races by. To be able to stop that rush of time and space, to be able to not only watch the choreography of life but to engage in the formal elements of the flow . . . to be alive outside of the normal beats and in between and in advance of . . . to be awake in the textures of dreamtime . . .
